What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is an affliction which is characterized by acute pain and overwhelming the body everywhere and generally in about 10-20 points on the body in particular. The causes for this ailment is still not confirmed by medical science though the signs are pointing to the problems of acute sleep and stress for some of the major triggers.
Fibromyalgia in children is more difficult to diagnose because adults do not take very seriously the complaints of children. Come to think it, the children themselves do not take the pain as a symptom seriously unless cross the threshold of resistance. When so ago and the child is desperate about the pain, the problem relates to your doctor.
Fibromyalgia occurs in children about when the child reaches puberty, when you around13 to15 years. This is a difficult period that brings along many changes in the bodies and minds of children so the children in Fibromyalgia are so difficult to diagnose in early stages. All the symptoms of the disease, that is, muscle pain, lack of sleep, lack of concentration, etc. are attributed to age are going through that difficult and therefore ignored.
